This is a silhouette of my boys with a sunset-lit lake in the background. The first one is the original and the others were cropped. Which is best? I liked Lori's suggestions, so I decided to give them a try! Here it is:
I like the second crop, but maybe try adding a little more to the left side, so that he has a "place to look". KWIM? I think it's important to keep the reflections of the trees in the photo, though, so try not to take much more off the top. Beautiful job!

I like the shot of both of them. what is nice about your crop is the detalis you can see your sons lashes even . nice capture of a shilloute
